PatreonTV

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Who we are

PatreonTV is an independent, open-source Apple TV client for viewing Patreon content you already have access to. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Patreon Inc.

The service

PatreonTV is provided as a native tvOS application. It is a viewer for content on your Patreon account — it does not itself host, sell, or distribute the content of any creator. All content viewed through PatreonTV remains subject to Patreon's own Terms of Use and the individual creators' terms.

Your Patreon account

You must have a Patreon account to use PatreonTV. You sign in on patreon.com from your phone or computer during device pairing — we never see your password. Your session cookie is delivered to your Apple TV through our pairing service (encrypted, short-lived, deleted after delivery), stored in the tvOS Keychain on your device, and used to authenticate requests to Patreon on your behalf.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Payments

PatreonTV is free. It does not process payments and does not sell subscriptions or memberships. To join a creator's tier or change your pledge, use Patreon's website or their official iOS app, subject to the applicable Apple in-app purchase rules where they apply.

Availability & changes

PatreonTV depends on Patreon's own systems to function. If Patreon changes its API, blocks third-party clients, or is otherwise unavailable, PatreonTV may not work as expected. We may release updates, change features, or discontinue the app at our discretion.

Disclaimer

PatreonTV is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content will be available.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will PatreonTV or its contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located there.
